How Lock and Load began
In 2003 Clagett Talley purchased his first store in Savannah, Tennessee.
For generations, the old Ten-Tucky One-Stop was a regionally known waypoint for Sportsmen on their way to Pickwick Lake to fish and local hunters to check in their deer. Eventually, the planned widening of Highway 128 would force the closure of Ten-Tucky.
Clagett set his sights solely on firearms sales and moved to a new location closer to the center of Savannah, Tennessee, and named his new store Lock and Load.
In 2012, Clagett opened a second Lock and Load store in Florence, Alabama.
Today, both Lock and Load stores offer friendly service and a wide variety of firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Our offerings include pistols, revolvers, shotguns, battle rifles, assault rifles, sniper rifles, personal defense weapons, carbines, designated marksman rifles, multiple-barrel firearms, and any other variants.
